Is your limited company in good hands? Three questions.

No email address needed, answer with the buttons.

Question 1 of 3

Does your accountant reply the same working day?

What you get

Tax investigation cover included free

If HMRC opens an enquiry into your company, we deal with it and you pay us nothing extra. Other firms sell this as an add-on for £300 to £1,000 a year.

A fee you know before we start

It is agreed in writing. Ring us when a supplier invoice looks wrong or a director loan question comes up, and the call costs nothing.

Every company deadline mapped for the year

Accounts, corporation tax, VAT and payroll dates sit in one place, so the Companies House filing date never arrives as a surprise.

What directors tell us when they first call

These are the three things we hear most from limited company owners in Port Talbot.

  • “I only hear from my accountant once a year, when the accounts need signing.”

By then the year is closed and the salary and dividend decisions have already been made badly.

  • “The company got an HMRC bill and nobody has explained what it is actually for.”

One client owed around £20,000 across corporation tax, VAT and Self Assessment with no idea what the debts were.

  • “Every ten minute phone call ends up on the next invoice, so I stopped ringing.”

Questions go unasked and small problems turn into a late filing penalty.

  • What changes once we take it on

We go through your past accounts, tax returns and HMRC records in the first month. Deadlines are mapped for the year ahead and you get a reply the same working day. You ring us as often as you like at no extra cost.

How we differ from the arrangement most directors have

Plenty of accountants do solid work; the difference is in the fee, the reply and who faces HMRC.

The usual yearly arrangement

Accounts prepared months after the year end.

Calls and emails billed by the hour.

Tax investigation cover sold as a paid add-on.

A reply when somebody gets to it.

With Supreme Consultants

Deadlines mapped for the year in your first month.

Calls, meetings and emails are never charged.

Tax investigation cover included free for every client.

A reply the same working day, every time.

Eight questions about how your company is run

Answer these honestly before your next accounts deadline.

  • Do you know your Companies House filing date without looking it up?

A missed accounts filing brings an automatic penalty that grows the longer it sits.

  • Is your corporation tax payment date in your diary?

It falls before the filing date, which catches out most first time directors.

  • Has anyone explained your salary and dividend split this year?

The decision is made during the year, and it is too late once the year has closed.

  • Is your bookkeeping up to date this month?

Current records are what make a VAT return accurate instead of a guess.

  • Do you know what your director loan account balance is?

An overdrawn balance at the year end creates a tax charge nobody warned you about.

  • Has your company been checked for unclaimed reliefs?

Wales has reliefs that councils only give to businesses that apply.

  • Would your accountant answer an HMRC letter without charging you?

Our tax investigation cover is included free for every client.

  • Did your Companies House ID verification get done?

When the rule came in we did it free for every client while others charged per check.

What we do for your limited company

Most VAT registered companies take the whole lot together on one fixed fee.

I just want to say a big thank you to Mudassir for all the advice, guidance and help he has provided whilst dealing with my accounts and tax returns. From start to finish the service has been excellent and professional. Unlike other accountancy firms they provide a friendly personalised service, I was very clear on the process and was even provided with additional guidance where needed. Highly recommended!

Limited company accountants in Port Talbot: questions directors ask

What does a limited company accountant in Port Talbot cost?

We agree a fixed fee in writing before any work starts, so you know the number before we touch your records. It covers the work we list for you, and calls, meetings and emails are never charged on top. Most VAT registered companies take bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year end accounts and corporation tax together on one fee.

How do I switch to you from my current accountant?

You answer the questions on this page and Mudassir replies the same working day. If we are a fit we agree the fee, complete your ID checks and write to your current accountant for your records, so you do not have to make that call. HMRC and Companies House then authorise us as your agent.

What happens if HMRC opens a check into my company?

We deal with HMRC for you and you pay us nothing extra, because tax investigation cover is included free for every client. Other firms sell it as an add-on for £300 to £1,000 a year. Every HMRC investigation we have handled, we have won, though no accountant can promise what HMRC will decide.

Do I have to change my accounting software?

No. We work with the cloud software you already use. If you want to move to Xero, the migration is free for clients. If your records are spreadsheets, bank statements and a folder of receipts, we take the paperwork as well and get it into order.

Are your limited company accountants based in Port Talbot?

We work from Titan House in Cardiff Bay and look after limited companies across Port Talbot and the rest of South Wales. Work is done remotely, in person at our office, or a mix of both. Call 029 2264 0550 between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday, and you get a reply the same working day.

Which businesses do you not take on?

We do not act for CIS construction subcontractors or charities, and we cannot help a business already late in an HMRC investigation. We also do not do one off Self Assessment returns with nothing ongoing. Everything else trading in Port Talbot is welcome, including limited companies, sole traders, partnerships and CICs.
