We started in 2022 and work out of Titan House in Cardiff Bay, handling bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, year end accounts and corporation tax for owner managed businesses across South Wales. Shaista is MAAT qualified and has been in the profession since 2015. Every client gets a fixed fee agreed in writing before work starts, and free tax investigation cover.
We started Supreme Consultants in 2022.
Two people, one office in Cardiff Bay, and a view about how accountants should behave.
Mudassir came to Cardiff in 2019 to study for an MBA at Cardiff Met, then moved out of consultancy and into accounting in 2020, first in practice and then in industry. The same thing kept happening. Clients had their filings done on time and heard nothing else all year. Nobody sat them down and told them what the numbers meant or what to do next.
Shaista had been in the profession since 2015 and was Head of Accounts at a large Cardiff firm. Between them they set up Supreme Consultants with three rules that have not moved since: the fee is agreed in writing before work starts, calls and meetings and emails never go on the invoice, and you hear back the same working day. Their first client was a friend importing from Asia. They formed his company and registered him for VAT and an EORI number so he could import legally.
Four years on, most of our clients are in Cardiff, Newport, Swansea, Caerphilly, Barry and Port Talbot, with a few over the bridge in Bristol. Community interest companies have become a speciality, formation through to the annual CIC accounts and community interest report, helped by the fact that we founded LedgerUp CIC ourselves. Free tax investigation cover comes with every client, and every HMRC investigation we have handled, we have won.

These are the four things clients hold us to. They are easy to check, which is the point.
We agree your fee in writing before we start.
You get a fixed monthly fee, set out in writing before any work begins, and that is what you pay. Calls, meetings and emails are never added to the invoice, so asking a quick question costs you nothing.
You get a reply the same working day.
Ring or email and you hear back that day. If the answer needs digging into, we still come back the same day to tell you when you will have it, so you are never left guessing where things stand.
We run full ID checks on every client.
Identity and anti money laundering checks happen on every engagement, however awkward the timing and however hard anyone pushes. When Companies House brought in director ID verification, we handled it at no charge for every existing client while other firms were billing for it.
We tell you what we would do in your position.
A Spar franchisee came to us still paying full business rates through Covid, because Cardiff Council required an application and nobody had told him. We spotted it in the first meeting and recovered £10,000. That kind of thing surfaces in conversation, which is why conversations are free.
