Is your limited company in good hands? Three questions.

Answer with the buttons and you get a straight read, with no email needed.

Question 1 of 3

Does your accountant reply the same working day?

What you get

Tax investigation cover included free

If HMRC opens an enquiry into your company, we deal with it and you pay us nothing extra. Other firms sell this as an add-on for £300 to £1,000 a year.

An HMRC balance you can explain

One client owed HMRC around £20,000 across Corporation Tax, VAT and Self Assessment with no idea what it was for. We went through every line and he ended up paying far less.

A fee you know before we start

We put it in writing first. Ring us when a customer disputes a VAT invoice and the call costs nothing.

What Bristol directors say when they first call us

Three things we hear most weeks from company owners who are about to change accountant.

  • “I only hear from my accountant once a year, and by then the accounts are already late.”

Late filing penalties land at Companies House and the director finds out from the letter.

  • “Every ten minute phone call ends up on an invoice, so I stopped ringing him.”

Decisions on dividends and VAT get made without advice, and they cost more later.

  • “HMRC wrote to me about corporation tax and nobody has explained what the letter means.”

The deadline on the letter passes while the director waits for a reply.

  • What changes once we take it on

Every deadline for the year is mapped and you get a reply the same working day. We go through your past accounts and HMRC records to see what has been missed. You know the fee before any work starts.

How this compares with a once a year accountant

Plenty of firms do good work this way; it is the contact and the billing that differ.

A once a year accountant

Accounts prepared after the year has closed

Phone calls and emails added to the bill

Investigation cover sold as an add-on

A fee confirmed after the work

With Supreme Consultants

Deadlines mapped for the whole year

Calls, meetings and emails never charged

Investigation cover included free for every client

A fixed fee agreed in writing before we start

Eight questions about how your company is run

A yes means it is covered already; a no is worth a conversation.

  • Do you know your accounts filing date at Companies House?

Miss it and the penalty starts the day after, whatever the reason.

  • Is your corporation tax figure explained to you before it is filed?

You should know the number and the payment date well before it is due.

  • Are your bookkeeping records up to date this month?

We keep records current in cloud software rather than rebuilding them in January.

  • Do you take salary and dividends on a plan you agreed with someone?

We go through this with every director by ninety days.

  • Are your VAT returns filed under Making Tax Digital records?

We handle registration, the scheme choice and the quarterly returns.

  • Is your payroll filed to HMRC on time each month with pensions handled?

Payslips, auto-enrolment and RTI submissions are part of the same fee.

  • Have your directors completed Companies House ID verification?

We did this free for every client when the rule came in.

  • If HMRC opened an enquiry, do you know who would answer it?

We deal with HMRC for you and the cover is included free.

I just want to say a big thank you to Mudassir for all the advice, guidance and help he has provided whilst dealing with my accounts and tax returns. From start to finish the service has been excellent and professional. Unlike other accountancy firms they provide a friendly personalised service, I was very clear on the process and was even provided with additional guidance where needed. Highly recommended!

Who we are not right for

Limited company accountants Bristol: questions people ask

What do limited company accountants in Bristol charge?

We do not publish figures because the work differs by company. We agree a fixed fee in writing before any work starts, so you know it before we touch anything. Calls, meetings and emails are never charged on top. Most VAT-registered companies take bookkeeping, VAT, payroll, accounts and corporation tax together on one fee.

How do I switch to you from my current accountant?

You answer the questions on this page and Mudassir replies the same working day. If we are a fit, we complete your ID checks and write to your current accountant for the records, so you do not have to make that call. We get authorised as your agent with HMRC and Companies House.

What happens if HMRC writes to my limited company?

You send us the letter and we deal with HMRC for you. Tax investigation cover is included free for every client, so there is no extra bill for handling an enquiry. Every HMRC investigation we have handled, we have won. We cannot take on a business that is already late in an investigation.

Do I have to change my accounting software?

No. We work with the cloud software you already use. If you want to move to Xero we do the migration free, and we will say plainly whether it is worth doing for your company. Nothing changes until you decide, and we set up the bank feeds and the chart of accounts.

Can you look after a limited company in Bristol from Cardiff?

Yes. Bristol is our neighbouring market over the bridge and the work is done remotely, in person at Titan House in Cardiff Bay, or a mix. Everything is filed online with HMRC and Companies House. You can ring 029 2264 0550 Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm.

Who runs the practice and are you qualified?

Supreme Consultants Ltd is an AAT licensed accountancy practice, licence number 1006407. Shaista Awais MAAT is the director and has worked in accountancy since 2015. Mudassir Dehghani is Practice Manager and is the person who replies to your first enquiry. The company number is 14000780.
